# Free vs paid web tools

Most of the functionality in the Velogic Web Tools is provided for free, for the benefit of the cycling community.

Some advanced features require a paid subscription, either as part of Velogic Studio subscription or as a standalone Velogic Web Tools subscription.

This page explains what's different between free use and a paid subscription.

## No "nearest fitter" ads

Free users of the Frame Comparison tool may see a banner ad at the top of the page, with details of their nearest Velogic Studio Pro fitter.

Paid users will never see that ad.

## More search results

In the Advanced Search and Position Search web tools, free users will see up to 8 search results, whereas paid users will see up to 30 search results

## Downloadable reports

In the Advanced Search and Position Search web tools, paid users can download a PDF report of selected search results:

## Preferred brands

Paid users can choose a set of preferred brands:

... and then, in Advanced Search or Position Search, a quick add called "Preferred brands" is available:

... clicking that will add the preferred brands to the query filter, so that only bikes from the preferred brands will appear in search results:
